Our Music Ministry

The Fountain Music Series' unique and exciting SPRING CONCERT, "Verlieh uns Frieden," will be performed by a 30-voice Concert Choir, our four WCSU/FCC Student Interns, other soloists, Andrew Gordon, accompanist/pianist extraordinaire, and conducted by yours truly, on Sunday, April 30, at 4:00pm. Five hundred years of transformative choral music, singing some of the most poignant texts ever heard in an FMS concert, have been culled from 14 representative composers. Whether you attend every FMS concert, or you may have never attended an FMS concert, I personally invite and beseech you to attend the SPRING CONCERT, the culmination in a way of years of planning (this will be only the second-ever all-choral concert I will have conducted in my career).

Other upcoming highlights:

  • April 30, the Worship Band leads the music in the 8:15am and 10:00am services
  • May 7, the Carol and Covenant Choir sing an introit in the 10:00am service for the Carol Choir's final singing Sunday of the 2016-2017 season

Our pastor, Dr. Charles Hambrick-Stowe, will be featured in an especially stirring and memorable role as well.
