Breakfast Run to NYC - please bring donations by March 10 of: toiletries (toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, deodorant, soap, shower gel, combs, brushes); backpacks; and clothing (men's & women's new socks and underwear, and new or gently used shirts, pants, and sweatshirts.) Hallway Helpers - Our program is robust, but we always welcome new helpers willing to serve in this vital way from 10:20-11 am on Sundays. Sign up for one day or many - serve with a friend and enjoy that time of fellowship!

3/4-3/10 (multiple 2-hour shifts) The Kindness Mural Project - FCC children (7 and older), teens, and adults are encouraged to participate in the mosaic's creation at The Barn Teen Center facing Governor Street. 3/7 - 12:30 pm Youth Ministry Institute at Yale - Dr. Stephanie Paulsell (Professor of Christian Studies at Harvard) and Ms. Vanessa Zoltan ("Harry Potter and the Sacred Text") present Matches Struck in the Dark: Imagination and the Joyful Life, that will explore creativity, faith, and practices that help cultivate both in teens. Carpools depart FCC at 11:30 am.

3/11 11 am - 12:30 pm Heifer Sunday Farm to You Revue returns to FCC with goats, bunnies, chickens and more! Donate to Heifer (try text giving!) to bring farm animals and vital earning potential to transform the lives of families living in poverty. Children - help us to welcome these furry and feathered friends!

3/14 - National School Walkout at 10 am for a period of 17 minutes to honor the 17 students killed in the Florida school shooting. Be in prayer for our FCC students at that time. The "never again" after Newtown has been followed by 290 more school shootings since 2013. Anxiety is THE #1 health challenge of our youth.

3/17 at 7 pm Shane Claiborne, author of Jesus for President, Follow Me to Freedom, and Becoming the Answer to Our Prayers will speak and sign books during a reception as part of the Courage & Faith lecture series in Greenwich. Shane Claiborne is the founder of Red Letter Christians, a movement committed to living "as if Jesus meant the things he said." Let's go together to hear this nationally celebrated Christian thought leader and author.

3/18 - Children and teachers wear green to Sunday School on St. Patrick's Day. Be ready for a special project!
