CONGREGATIONAL MEETING MAY 6 TO CALL KAREN HALAC
AS ASSOCIATE MINISTER
Always believing that God would guide us to an individual who was just right for our church, the Search Committee joyfully announces Karen Halac as our candidate for Associate Minister for Children’s, Youth and Family Ministries! We nominated Karen because of her experience, passion, organizational skills and energy. A faithful and biblically-based servant, Karen’s warmth and enthusiasm are contagious. An excellent communicator and facilitator made Karen the ideal candidate to strengthen and broaden our family ministry. She will be a welcome addition to the FCC staff and an excellent complement to Rev. Charlie in the many pastoral duties of the church.
Mark your calendar for:
Sat. 5/5 from 2:30 – 4:30 p.m. in the church Parlor for a “Meet & Greet” when Karen will be available for introductions and to answer any questions you may have.
Sun. 5/6 Candidating Sunday when Karen will preach at both the 8:30 and 10 a.m. services. A congregational meeting will follow the 10 a.m. service when FCC members will vote to affirm our selection and formally call Karen Halac as our new Associate Minister.
