STEWARDSHIP THOSE
“LADDER AND PIE” POSTERS

Have you seen the Stewardship posters in the hallways? They give a snapshot of our 2012 Faith Commitment response.

Some good news: Many answered the call and increased their financial commitment in most of the giving ranges. This helps to lessen the burden placed on the 22 households that cover a disproportionate share (nearly 50%) of the church’s operating expenses.

But: The charts also show that 109 households (1/3 of FCC members) did not participate in making a financial commitment to the church in the form of a Faith Commitment. It is not too late to make that commitment and help close the $52,000 gap between the level of Faith Commitments and the income budgeted and approved by the congregation.

Most important: Where do we stand with actual income compared with our expense plan for this year to date? As summer nears, we have fallen well behind the weekly average $11,500 needed. Those who made Faith Commitments are, collectively, only 91% up to date with giving. This is not a good place to be as we approach vacation season.

Please bring your giving current with your financial commitment to the church to avoid a summertime cash-flow problem. Thank you for your attention to these important matters.
