Board of Missions ~ Pivot Ministries
Mission Overview
Founded in 1970 by Reverend Alonzo Smalls, Pivot Ministries is a Christ-centered, bible-based treatment program for drug and alcohol addiction. With residential facilities in Norwalk and Bridgeport, young men suffering from addiction commit their lives to Christ and receive the support and care only He can provide.
Church members witness the profound impact Christ has had on these men by periodically preparing and sharing meals with the men and attending their worship service. In addition, the Pivot Men's Choir often visits and shares its spiritual gifts in worship at FCC.
