The Mission Ministry at The First Congregational Church is responsible for "a continuing program of Mission education and will endeavor to create understanding, support, and participation among members of the theology and work of the Church's mission in the world." (FCC By-Laws, 2010) This is an exciting church community within which to fulfill that mandate. Members and friends of FCC continue to be active in mission outreach in many ways.

How We Help Our Mission Partners:

  • We pray for the Lord's support, guidance and miracles
  • We offer our time, talents and service
  • We are personally involved in our partners' mission and success; we ask how we can best offer a helping hand
  • We offer our financial support

Our mission activities and donations are an expression of God's love, working though our hands and feet. Monetary donations are important, but hands-on participation in mission service carries each of us far beyond the financial aspects of giving. The following descriptions summarize the mission partnerships that keep us involved in doing God's work in our local community, across the nation, and around the world.
